Renault is French automaker, allied with Nissan, which makes it the world's 4th carmaker.
Apart from Europe, it is widely present in Asia, South and Central America where Renault models are being rebranded or made.
It has been producing small city cars, vans and utility vehicles for decades, but 2998 brought a first Renault SUV model - Koleos.
