Lexus - tech packed cars
A brief look at latest technologies Lexus implemented at their cars makes me wonder how much fun can be taken from the ride?
Americans are already used not to shift gears, nowadays they are getting used to automatic parking where you control speed only, it’s your Lexus who does the steering. A pro auto parking argument I’ve heard (”someone important at the backseat watching a DVD blocks the rearview”) is my argument, too. Where have all the fun in driving gone?
Is it really necessary that a sunlit side of the car gets cooler air from a built in auto AC? That goes beyond comfort, if you ask me.
Are we that incapable of taking care of ourselves that a car has to disperse meds in the air? What happened with old-fashioned way?

Lexus LS 460 can monitor your body temperature and adjust cabin temperature accordingly. I only wonder how it can know if I like to be in hot or cold air!? Or, if we have a fewer with chills, will it drive us to the doc?
How many people will get out of the car and let it park itself, while they brag around how smart it is?
I am afraid that this will lead to too many double parked cars. But, hey - they will all be expensive!
Too many question marks written here - what frightens me the most is the future will give me answers…
