Infiniti - basic company info and current lineup
Infiniti is Nissan's luxury brand. Initially marketed and sold in USA, its European debut is scheduled for autumn 2008.
All Infiniti vehicles are based on Nissan's FM platform (engine is placed centrally, behind the front wheels) which ensures superior stability and handling.
Well earned reputation of sporty luxury car maker, Infiniti makes sedans and coupes as well, but all have the rather aggressive sporty feel.
That and few other unique features set Infiniti apart from competition. For example, automatic driving position coordinates the mirror and steering wheel as seats are adjusted, rear wheels steer too (up to 1 degree radian) when turning etc.
Always noticed on the street, long awaited Infiniti finally becomes available in Europe as well.
